Second-Hand eBooks?

A really interesting article. I’m still not sure how second-hand eBooks would work, but it is definitely an interesting concept to consider. Also, commenting about second-hand (physical) books with their folded or torn pages and the slightly scuffed look like they have been shoved in and out of a bag multiple times, I have to agree that while eBooks are convenient, they don’t have those characteristics that physical books do; it’s just a clean copy with no telling of where the previous owner may have paused. Really there would be no indication that the eBook was second-hand in the first place.
A very intriguing article, but still no completely sure what Amazon hopes to gain through re-selling eBooks.
